Strengthening European Identity in times of crisis

Názov projektu: "Posilnenie európskej identity v čase krízy"

Minulý týždeň v dňoch 1 – 4 marca sa naša obec  zúčastnila v Padróne (Španielsko) prvého stretnutia projektu financovaného Európskou komisiou s názvom „Posilnenie európskej identity v čase krízy“.

V projekte sú zúčastnené obce a organizácie zo 17 krajín Európskej únie. Počas stretnutia sa uskutočnili  workshopi k danej téme. Stretnutie spestrili  hudobné vystúpenia miestnych folklórnych skupín, ako aj vystúpenia regionálnych politikov z Galície. Účastníci projektu navštívili parlament Galície v Santiagu de Compostela  a pamätihodnosti mesta

Last week, on March 1-4, our community took part in the first meeting of the project financed by the European Commission entitled "Strengthening European identity in times of crisis" in Padrón (Spain).

In the event were participating municipalities and organizations from 17 countries of the European Union. During the meeting workshops were held on the given topics.

The meeting was enriched by musical performances by local folklore groups, as well as speeches by regional politicians from Galicia. We also visited the Parliament of Galicia in Santiago de Compostela and the city's sights.
